Wands
As I look back now, my first experiences with the Wands, were like a desperate plea for the Magic Wand…You Know…The Fairy Tail Ending of Hope, Healing and Yes of course…Happy Ever After!
Wands, along with the Bath Essence Blends, are part of a World that I Created when illness and the medical profession closed the door to the so-called normal healthy life I was expecting to have. My journey into this other World; A World of Creative Wonder where the desire for Hope and Healing are woven into every Creation, began out of shock, fear, and oftentimes despair. The journey has been far from easy, as most healing journey’s are… however the gifts I have received simply could not have come to be without the challenges.
I heard Quincy Jones on Oprah one day explaining how God just seems to drop the music notes from the sky and he just grabs on to them. When I here of someone in crisis or facing some sort of extreme challenge I feel like The Universe/God/Goddess/The Power that Be…Just starts dropping all these Essences, Gemstones, Colors, Symbols from the sky and it is my job to grab hold and allow this creative juice to flow as unobstructed as possible to pull together the combinations that will assist in generating a positive formula to empower and inspire hope and healing…
This Process and the Creations, for me are Purely Magical, and it is in this World of Creative Wonder that Life for a while seems to make sense. How grateful I am for my little magical space to inspire and empower hope and healing.
There is no formula, no plan, and no two that ever come out exactly the same.
There is a request, a personal need and intent of Magical intervention for ones greatest good. I then pretty much surrender to the process, The Universe/God/Goddess/Power That Be.
Most of the wands I have created begin with Crystals or Gemstones and are attached to Copper pipe, which then acts as a conductor of energy…I usually use leather to wrap the wand, which acts as an insulator. I have occasionally worked with wood and Bamboo instead of the copper. A vast collection of stones that will be utilized inside and out, as well as colors and types of leather, feathers and furs and quite often essence blends will lend their healing energy to the creative process.
I have learned not to have an expectation of how the wand will look upon completion. It will unfold in its own time and with its own wisdom.
Everything has meaning…from the Crystals and Gemstones to the colors to the length of the pipe to the symbols, feathers, furs and lets not forget the inside, which is often times every bit as important as the external look. |
