In 2017 I made the first Celestial Roots blend based on the story of the 3 sisters – the bean the corn and the zucchini and how they support each other in the growing process. It had been a popular blend and this year I planted them again – growing up along them were sunflowers – Radish – Arugula – Garlic – Marigold – Cosmos – and later on sweet peas and regular peas.
Celestial Roots is all about the Circle of Interdependence – this one, in particular, has been spectacular with the corn towering above me – and the beans growing all around them and actually helping to hold them up with all the strong winds – The corn leaves got a bit spliced with one of the hell storms but overall they look amazing and the message is Stronger together and Gather with Grateful Hearts.
